The 2010 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

This year marks the Diamond Jubilee of the Royal Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. Therefore, this highly anticipated production is made even more special as it celebrates more than 50 years of music.

The Edinburgh Tattoo is a remarkable event which is due to take place between the 6th and 28th of August, so you can choose when to come and visit this beautiful city. The performances are carried out with the city’s famous castle as the backdrop.

There are pipers, dancers, singers and gymnastics at the event with an incredible motorcycle display team too. But music is certainly the main order of the day and the event features the popular Massed Pipes and Drums and the Massed Military Bands.

Starting on Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th of July, the main arena will be the place to go to find out more about how the road transport of goods and people has been carried out over the last 100 years.
