This year marks the Diamond Jubilee of the Royal Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. Therefore, this highly anticipated production is made even more special as it celebrates more than 50 years of music.
The Edinburgh Tattoo is a remarkable event which is due to take place between the 6th and 28th of August, so you can choose when to come and visit this beautiful city. The performances are carried out with the city’s famous castle as the backdrop.
There are pipers, dancers, singers and gymnastics at the event with an incredible motorcycle display team too. But music is certainly the main order of the day and the event features the popular Massed Pipes and Drums and the Massed Military Bands.
If you want to come and celebrate the occasion with the locals as well as people from all around the world, then you can come along to watch the performances held in the week, from Monday to Friday at 9.00pm plus the Saturday showing at 7.30pm and 10.30pm.
You can now benefit from staying in the middle of the action with caravan hire. There are quite a number of caravan and camping sites in the city and throughout the surrounding Lothian countryside.
