Rent a touring caravan for any UK event

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

If you have plans to attend a music festival, motor racing event or any other occasion that requires a certain amount of travel, then have you considered caravan rental?

By hiring out a caravan you can have the mobile home delivered directly to the event, so when you arrive by car or any other form of transport it can be sorted so it is ready for you when you get there.

Should you wish to take the caravan with you, then this is not a problem either, as these touring caravans can be attached to a suitable vehicle and you can simply go wherever you please, and in your own time.

These flexible forms of accommodation are a great solution when going to an event based in England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland as you can take your comfortable bed with you and concentrate on enjoying the time away from home.

With caravan rental you can forget about expensive hotel bills, which always seem to go up whenever there is a festival or sporting occasion planned in the area, so you can beat this by arranging for a mobile home to be hired instead. They really are an excellent option for any UK event.

Prince added to bill at Hop Farm Festival 2011

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

It has been announced this week that pop icon Prince is to join Morrissey and The Eagles in headlining the Hop Farm Music Festival, his first appearance in four years.

Organisers have confirmed the presence of the 52-year-old star at the Kent-based event this coming July.

Tickets are now on sale for the three day festival which runs from Friday the 1st until Sunday the 3rd of July, with Prince performing on the final night. An extra day was added just to accommodate the singer on the bill.

The best way to enjoy this festival, which is set over 90 acres of beautiful countryside, is by camping across the three days.

Once you have purchased arena day passes for all of the travellers you can then obtain your campervan or caravan pass, costing £35 per vehicle per day. This allows for up to four people to stay in the mobile home, so the charge can be shared out between you.

Caravan rental or campervan hire is a great way of experiencing the festival to the full. You can benefit from toilet and shower units onsite and other facilities for use during the weekend.

All in all it promises to be another exciting music event, and with Prince now on the bill it is one certainly not to be missed.

The logistics of hiring a campervan or caravan for a UK festival

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

I’m sure that many of you by now have already bought your weekend camping tickets for whichever music festival in the UK you want to go to this year. In fact, many festivals like Glastonbury and T in the Park are already sold out, so it is wise to sort out your accommodation early to avoid disappointment.

When it comes to hiring a caravan or campervan for the event from a reputable rental company there are a number of things which need to be kept in mind.

Firstly, you need to make sure that you have already purchased your tickets for the festival itself, so you have authorisation to stay on site for the duration of the event.

Once you have done this the rental specialists can take care of almost everything else. They can arrange with the festival organisers to deliver the campervan or caravan to the site and gain access to the fields where the mobile home will be set up for the length of the festival.

This means that when you arrive later with your permit, the accommodation is already ready for you. The campervan or caravan will then be collected once the festival is over and you won’t have to worry about getting it back to the rental company.

Caravans are a great alternative to camping out

Monday, March 21st, 2011

If you are someone who really loves the great outdoors and likes to just get away from the rest of civilisation when you go on your holidays, then caravan hire would be perfect for you. Maybe in the past you have only really considered camping trips and staying in a tent, however it is certainly worth thinking about the more comfortable alternative.

Many campers decide to stay in a tent based purely on price. And while it is true that paying to stay on a campsite when you just bring your own flexible shelter with you is the cheapest way to enjoy the countryside, caravan rental is probably better value than you might think.

These days, you can hire a caravan and get it delivered either to the place where you want to stay on your trip or directly to your home, without the hassle of having to go pick it up. The price is also very competitive in this day and age and you will be surprised with how many mod cons and facilities these mobile homes come with as standard.

For those times when you could do with a more comfortable night’s sleep, especially after a long day walking, climbing, surfing or kayaking, caravans can prove to be the most suitable form of accommodation on a holiday in the countryside.

Brands Hatch is a well-known British motor racing circuit, and is a former home of the British Grand Prix (1964-1986) located close to Swanley in Kent. The venue was originally used as a farmland dirt track for motorcycle racing, but is now host to a number of international events in the racing calendar.

On the 19th and 20th of March, Brands Hatch is the chosen circuit for the NG Road Racing Club Bike Championships. The club has been involved with the racing of motorcycles for 36 years now, since its formation in 1970.

If you want to see a range of top racing, from solo and sidecar events, then be sure to get down to the circuit across the weekend.

It has been confirmed that gates will be open from 8am on both the Saturday and the Sunday, with a full programme planned. Included with the tickets is free general parking and children under 13 will be admitted for free.

In Racing Green, just to the left of the main entrance to the circuit, there is a free-of-charge campsite for you to use, however there are no facilities available. You can access the site on Friday at midday and stay until midday on the Monday.

One of the best ways to enjoy the experience to the full is to make use of caravan rental, which is cost-effective and there are a number of flexible options available.

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

Over the past few years we have experienced changing seasons in the United Kingdom and it is so hard to work out whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter any more. Whether you want the caravan for a week or month, you can now arrange for static caravan hire services to deliver the mobile home to the location of your choice.

These types of caravan are certainly spacious and you won’t complain about their functionality. The great thing about them is that they can be delivered to you anywhere in the country, making them the perfect temporary accommodation solution.

Caravan rental at your convenience

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Usually when you hire a caravan you are restricted in terms of the options available to you. With static caravan hire it is often the case that you have to think carefully about the site you want to book the caravan for and just stay there for the duration of the trip.

What you may not know is that there are now caravan rental companies that offer a range of choices to suit you and your holiday requirements. For instance, if you wanted to go to a summer festival but didn’t really want to have to put up with camping in a tent and staying in a muddy field you can now arrange for the mobile home to be delivered to the event for you.

However, that is not all, as in addition to having the caravan set up and ready for your arrival at the UK event, you can also have it collected at the end, so all you have to do is just get there. This makes it so much easier when choosing where you want to go for your holidays.

With flexible options like this as well as self-drive, it makes the planning so much simpler and you can get on with just looking forward to the holiday itself.
