The Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010

Sonisphere 2010

A great rock festival option for this summer where tickets are still available is Sonisphere. The event is taking place at Knebworth House, Hertfordshire between Friday the 30th of July and Sunday the 1st of August.

This festival only started last year and the two day event promises to be another spectacular show of rock music. 60,000 people will be there to see Rammstein and Iron Maiden take to the stage, with other acts including the likes of Alice Cooper, Placebo and Motley Crue.

With such a line-up over the two days at the main arena and two tented stages, there is plenty of entertainment on offer. The festival begins on the Friday, with a Rocky Horror Show theme, and ends on the Sunday with Iron Maiden.

The Bohemia area offers alternative acts and things like karaoke, Guitar Hero and DJs until the early hours of the morning, while there are also white knuckle rides and fair stalls, with cafes providing a chill out zone.
