Receive the hired mobile home at your convenience

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

The fact that mobile homes, such as caravans and motorhomes, allow you the flexibility to just go wherever you please would not be much good if you still had to go to a lot of trouble having it delivered to you or arranging how you will pick it up in the first place.

This is why rental companies go out of their way to ensure that their customers can be in possession of their hired mobile home as simply and stress-free as possible. You can benefit from a delivery service which will bring the motorhome or caravan to your house or, if you are arriving by plane, to a chosen UK airport.

In addition to this, there is also the option of having the mobile home delivered to a UK festival or show and have it pitched and set up ready for when you arrive.

The caravans and motorhomes which are available to individuals, small groups and families can be hired by the day, week or month.

All this means that the service is geared towards the satisfaction of the customer and so those interested in mobile home hire can rest assured that every effort will be made to ensure the holiday goes as smoothly as possible.

Go on tour with your favourite band

Friday, May 20th, 2011

Not all artists from America and the rest of the world embark on a UK tour every year, so it is always worth trying to make the most of it while they are here. Die-hard fans will be looking to purchase tickets for every leg of the band’s journey as they visit England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

One of the best and most economical ways to do this is through campervan or motorhome rental. This is because you can avoid having to pay the extortionate prices you will have to pay for hotel rooms in major cities and can stay just outside the centre instead, in a reasonably priced holiday park or campsite. You will also have to fork out a lot for the gig tickets themselves, so putting your money together with a few friends to hire a motorhome can be extremely cost-effective.

It can be fun as you embark on the road trip of a lifetime, following your band around from venue to venue, and watching them play live to a packed crowd every night. Life on the road for a few weeks will make the journey even more worthwhile as you get to stay in all kinds of places, meeting other fans of the band along the way.

Prince added to bill at Hop Farm Festival 2011

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

It has been announced this week that pop icon Prince is to join Morrissey and The Eagles in headlining the Hop Farm Music Festival, his first appearance in four years.

Organisers have confirmed the presence of the 52-year-old star at the Kent-based event this coming July.

Tickets are now on sale for the three day festival which runs from Friday the 1st until Sunday the 3rd of July, with Prince performing on the final night. An extra day was added just to accommodate the singer on the bill.

The best way to enjoy this festival, which is set over 90 acres of beautiful countryside, is by camping across the three days.

Once you have purchased arena day passes for all of the travellers you can then obtain your campervan or caravan pass, costing £35 per vehicle per day. This allows for up to four people to stay in the mobile home, so the charge can be shared out between you.

Caravan rental or campervan hire is a great way of experiencing the festival to the full. You can benefit from toilet and shower units onsite and other facilities for use during the weekend.

All in all it promises to be another exciting music event, and with Prince now on the bill it is one certainly not to be missed.

You don’t always have to plan your holiday

Monday, May 16th, 2011

While it can be fun trying to plan a holiday, by deciding where to go, what you’d like to do when you get there, it doesn’t always leave a lot of room for some spontaneity. With package holidays this is certainly the case and while there are bargains to be had, prices for foreign escapades are on the rise.

The weather in the UK over the last month or so has been surprisingly good, and generally widespread, so it may be worth considering staying closer to home for your holidays this year. And with something like motorhome hire you can just decide to pack up and go wherever you feel like on the day.

When you embark on a motorhome trip you can take everything with you that you’ll need for a week or two travelling round the UK, including a map so you don’t get lost. Then it is all up to you and your travelling partner to decide where to head to.

It can be scary to set off in your mobile home without a plan, but it can also be exciting and unpredictable. You can have an amazing time on your road trip, stopping at various caravan parks and campsites along the way, enjoying the beautiful countryside and interesting towns you come across.
