Enjoy an Easter treat with your family using motorhome hire

If you’re looking for a fun and family-friendly activity for the Easter weekend, the Peter Rabbit Easter Egg Hunt in the Lake District could be right up your street. This event starts on March 31st 2010 – just in time for the Easter weekend - and is completely free to join in.

How to get involved
This event is organised by The World of Beatrix Potter, and is actually the biggest Easter Egg Hunt in the North of England! A type of treasure map will be posted on the website at 10am on the morning of the Hunt, revealing the locations of 100 special Peter Rabbit Easter eggs hidden around Cumbria. All you and your family have to do is find them, having a whale of a time and exploring the beautiful Lake District landscape as you go.

Not only will you have the chance to win a number of special prizes - including visits to The World of Beatrix Potter attraction and stays at a number of top Lake District hotels – but you will also get to keep any of the handmade Peter Rabbit pottery Easter eggs you find.

What’s more, this event is completely free! This means that all you’ll have to pay for is motorhome hire, so you and your family can race around the Cumbrian countryside looking for those elusive eggs. And if you shop around online for the best deals on caravan and motorhome hire, you should be able to knock the price of that down as well.
