For horse-racing fans or even just families wanting a great day out; the Badminton Horse Trials 2010 is definitely a must-attend event. Taking place on Friday 30th April to Monday 3rd May; this three day event is a major highlight in the horse-racing calendar, featuring the very finest horses, jockeys and trainers in the world of racing, dressage and show jumping.

The town of Badminton also has plenty to offer; you can have a wander around the legendary Badminton Shopping Village or take a picnic to a beautiful nearby location, whilst still getting back to the racecourse in time to cheer on your favourite.

If you haven’t got your tickets to the 2010 Badminton Horse Trials yet, the online box office closes around April 19th so you haven’t got long!

Once you’ve reserved your place at this prestigious event, you can then decide how to get there. The site does offer limited caravan hire, but your best bet is to arrange motorhome hire yourself. This will give you the freedom to explore the surrounding Gloucestershire area and maybe even stop off somewhere else for a night on the way home.

Don’t feel like driving? Some motorhome hire companies will arrange to drop off and pick up the caravan at Badminton or nearby and then pick it up again at the end of the event.
